- In same pan now add rai curry leave and green chili saute for 30 sec, now add onion saute it for 1 min now add all chopped veggies mix well and cover it till vegetables turn soft
- Now add all dry ingredients like haldi, red chilli, garam masala and Salt mix it well
- Now add soaked sago and fried pea nuts, mix well and cover it for 4,5 min in low flame, our sabudana khichdi is ready to serve
However if you ask me, you don't really need an occasion to make and devour it. This khichdi is extremely simple and yet so flavorful. I'm not a big fan of fasting food but sabudana khichdi is my fave, I can and do eat this without fasting. It's simple to make but so good, I eat it with plain yogurt. Some people eat turmeric while fasting and some don't.
